We are proud to let you know that one of our photos of Kina Grannis made the cover of Pollstar Magazine, a trade publication covering the worldwide concert industry. Recently, Kina has been blowing up the music industry with her latest video, “In Your Arms,” which is stop motion video featuring a gazillion (alright, we’re exaggerating, but it’s really a lot of) jelly beans. She even appeared on Ellen and has appeared in numerous other publications. You may recall that Kina is one of our favorite indy music artists and that we blogged about her about a year ago.
In the spirit of reflecting on a pretty awesome and, mind you a super fast year, we’ve decided to look back and reflect on what we feel are the top 10 images from 2011… err… well, let’s say 13 images. We had a tough time deciding on the top 10. What do you think? Do you have another favorite from 2011?
This is just a cool photo that I took on the plane. I was napping only to wake up to a pretty awesome sunset.
I can be a true Yankees fan and start off talking about the rivalry or maybe something about Tom Brady and how he’s oh-so handsome or how even Justin Bieber hated on Mr. Brady’s hair in the 2010 season. But in reality, I have nothing but love for Boston. You would think having grown up in the NYC area, I would have gone to Boston several times to see all of the historical landmarks that Boston has to offer, but nope. I’ve only been there once. So given the opportunity, it was pretty much a no-brainer. With no set agenda, my friend and I randomly wandered the city, seeing the various sites and it’s a really cool city. I’d love to live there for a few years, just to try it out.
